5 more Warwickshire Police Vehicle Defibs! Thank you Concrete Repairs Limited - Jamies Law

People ask me a lot, does doing the OurJay stuff ‘take my mind off sadness and what happened to Jamie’, the simple answer is no.

It all actually makes me think about Jamie even more (if that’s even possible) and it all makes us even more determined to continue the legacy he started, saving lives!

This morning was another huge step for Jamie’s Foundation, with a further 5 defibrillators donated to Warwickshire Police, to be placed in 5 of the neighbourhood police vehicles (1 Nuneaton/Bedworth, 1 Leam/Warwick, 1 Rugby, 1 Stratford and 1 North Warwickshire).

We are so grateful to Concrete Repairs Limited - CRL whose amazing donation, combined with OurJays charity discount, meant we could achieve these 5 more police vehicle defibrillators in Warwickshire, bringing the total police vehicle defibs in our county, to 33. We met with Adrian, Diana and Kevin, from CRL, at Rugby Police Station, to handover these defibrillators to Chief Inspector Angus Eagles. We are all very hopeful that this news will result in more Police vehicle defibrillators very soon, small steps lead to big changes!

We constantly question why the Police are the only blue light service in England that don’t, as standard, carry defibrillators in their vehicles (except armed response), yet they continue to be the first to reach so many emergency situations before other blue light services. Not only is this so concerning for the public and anyone in these emergency situations, but also for the officers that go to these scenes, without these vital pieces of equipment. WE FIGHT ON, IN OUR CAMPAIGN TO MAKE IT MANDATORY FOR ALL POLICE VEHICLES IN THE UK TO CARRY DEFIBRILLATORS #Jamieslaw
