OurJays 21st life saved

By Naomi Rees Issitt

News hero: OurJays 21st life saved

t’s always so hard for us to share some information with you all, trying to find the right words, without it completely breaking us.

But, it’s so important that we tell you all this.

Today we have heard that OurJays defibrillators have saved their 21st life.

One of the defibrillators that we supported the Warwick District Council Wardens with, was used last Thursday and saved the life of a man in his mid 40’s. The man involved had collapsed and was in cardiac arrest…the defibrillator restarted his heart.

Even more positive news, is that the man involved, is now out of hospital and on the road to recovery.

When the police arrived at the scene, they did not have a defibrillator with them, so it was so lucky for all involved, that the council wardens had taken the life saving initiative to carry defibrillators in their vehicle.

“PROUD OF OUR JAMIE”…is the biggest understatement we can make. 21 people (that we know of). 21 families, 21 groups of friends, 21 communities, 21 reasons why we just have to KEEP GOING!

Shine bright little man…surf’s up! 💙🩵💙
