Rugbys Christmas Fire and Ice event

News hero: Rugbys Christmas Fire and Ice event

Crikey, what a day that was Rugby!

The Rugby First Fire & Ice event was just brilliant. Jamie’s ice sculpture (Christmas Stocking) was amazing and we all absolutely loved it 💙

Thank you to everyone who came to see us, made donations and bought OurJay merchandise, we raised a huge amount. As always, we want to say a big thank you to Jamie’s nan, Karen and our bestie Billy, for their help. I’ve said it before, but Billy gives up so much of his time for OurJay and we just love how caring he is. OurJay means a lot to him, but there aren’t many young lads that would give up their Sunday, to come and stand in the freezing cold for 6 hours and get absolutely nothing for it. You’re a special young man Billy 🫶🏼

To enable us to be at this event today, Jamie’s Aunty Tash and cousin Kaydon did the Dunchurch Christmas Shopping event for us, thank you so much for your help and again, thank you Kaydon for giving up your lay-in for OurJay, another very special young man 🩵

It never ceases to amaze us how kind, understanding and generous the people of Rugby are, we will continue to fight for change for our lovely little town and we love to have you all alongside us in what we are trying to achieve in memory of our Jamie and to make sure that heart safety is an absolute priority for Rugby 💙🩵💙

Love Jem and Naomi xxx
