Such a proud day for me and all of Jamie’s family and OurJay Foundation. I say it at least 10 times a day, but it couldn’t be more true…This British Empire Medal is Jamie’s, to us he is now Jamie Rees BEM and we are all so unbelievably proud of him, as always.

Last week, I was invited along to be formally presented with our medal by the Lord Lieutenant of Warwickshire Tim Cox, on behalf of King Charles III. It was a lovely ceremony, where I was able to talk a little bit about Jamie’s Foundation, which as you all know, is what I feel I need to do now.

I’m not going to apologise for all the photos, I was so pleased that some of our family could share this amazing day with me and I was surprised by my little sister, Xavana, turning up when she’d told a big fat lie and said she couldn’t come!

Jamie, my little love, you’re amazing, you’re the most special boy and I love you so so much…we’ll keep going as long as you always guide us to where your legacy shows us to go 💙🩵💙
