The Emergency Services Show 2026
I’ve decided I’m not gonna apologise for my long posts anymore, especially on days like today, when we feel like we’ve had such a positive day, not only for our precious Jamie’s Foundation, but also for Jamie’s Law.
We’ve been at the Emergency Services Show at Birmingham NEC all day today (and tomorrow) and we have spoken to so many people, easily more than 100 visitors/leads that we will be following up. Perhaps more importantly, we’ve been visited by so many police officers and paramedics, who have all been to see us, to back our Jamie’s Law campaign and confirm their backing for police vehicle defibrillators across all UK police forces. This means a lot to us and gives us the feedback we need to report back to government ministers.
I also had a teams meeting with The Police Federation, alongside Mark WEL Medical Limited and Chief Inspector Louise Mcclennan, Northumbria Police, which proved to be 100% positive. Representatives from the federation talked to me at length about Jamie’s Law and they have confirmed that they will now be writing to the Crime and Policing Minister, Sarah Jones MP, to fully support our campaign. They also agreed with us that no time can be wasted, in pushing this campaign through, ensuring that defibrillators are available for Police Officers, who desperately need these vital life saving pieces of equipment, when they are so often the first on the scene to cardiac emergencies. Our thanks to Steve Darling MP, for inviting us to be a part of this meeting and continuing to support us for this life saving change!
