Westminster Abbey - Royal Carol Service!

Trust me, there could’ve been more pics! What an absolute honour it was, to be invited by the Princess of Wales, to her Royal Carol Service at Westminster Abbey. Firstly, my priority was getting Jamie’s label hung on the Westminster Christmas Tree ✅ 💙

I wanted to enjoy the amazing atmosphere, which became even better, when I realised I was sitting right at the front, behind so many of the royal family!

I felt that I needed to make the most of the opportunity to raise awareness of Jamies Foundation, so I managed to getting chatting to Kate Garraway, Susanna Reid, Lorraine Kelly, Laura Tobin and a few others. They were all so kind and gave me so much of their time, they’ve all promised to get in touch to support us further…watch this space!

The carols were beautiful, sung by amazing choirs (and I did sing a little bit, hopefully not caught on camera) with performances from Paloma Faith and Gregory Porter. A really touching reading from the Prince of Wales, Richard E Grant and Michelle Dockery (my fave from Downton).

I got this opportunity out of sadness, it’s always filled with hurt, because my boy was taken away from me, but I have to keep fighting, I have to get some sort of justice for Jamie. It will only take for 1 ‘important’ person to keep their promise of helping us, for this experience to have been totally worth the trip. Yes, it was beautiful, yes, I feel so privileged to have been there, but you all know my priorities and absolutely nothing or no one is more special or important to me than my Jamie 💙✨🩵✨🎄
