What an unbelievable day for OurJay Festival 2026! - hero image

Right, I’m going for it! I’m being brave here folks, because I’m so scared of forgetting someone, but that’s why it’s a long read, because every single person, group or business mentioned in this post, meant that OurJay Festival Fun Day 2026 was such a huge success, so here goes…

The miracle that is our sound/stage/screen guys:

Simon, Rob, Louis and Ellis. You seem to make everything sound better and better every year, but you smashed it out of the park this year and we know how much pressure you guys are under.

The stage by Event Equipment Hire and the fantastic screen by GDS Sound and Light.

Seeing our precious Jamies face throughout the festival meant so much to us, so thank you Chris and Lisa (Killerz) for creating the beautiful screen visuals.

Our brilliant photographer since day 1, Mark Hurst Photo (the photos from mark will follow shortly, he took approximately 2000 throughout the day, so you can imagine what a job he now has to try to compress these for us!).

Our Food and Drink vendors:

Rugby Distillery, DGM SLUSH & Oink Haus, Monday Night Eating Club, Scott's Ices UK, Jones Events, Next Stop Naples - Pizza Van, The Little Jam and Scone Company

Enough power to last us until 2029 (lol) supplied by Pramac, with the support of Weronika and Sam throughout the day and Harry in the set up.

The protective gang of security provided by Robin GPS Security.

The caring team of First Aiders provided from St John Ambulance North and East Warwickshire, who also delivered CPR/Defib awareness to our festival goers on behalf of OurJay.

All our Sponsors/Bottle donators/Raffle prize donators, which will be tagged in their own special post later this week.

All festival banners and a lot of OurJays merch supplied by Amanda at IDGenie, extra gazebos borrowed from our friend Kelly at Barley Barn. Picnic benches borrowed from our friends Dave and Emma at London Calling and collected and returned by Scott Pryde and his bestie. Toilets provided Loos For Hire.

Fairground ride and bungees by Chris, Paul and Matheo and friendly reptile corner by Chris and friends from RaptorXotics

Of course, the venue Newbold-On-Avon RFC, Rob and Dave, the whole bar team and the car park attendants.

All our craft stalls, which gave our visitors such a lovely variety to choose from. A special thank you to Maria Maule who donated a further £475 to OurJay on Saturday, collected over the last 6 months.

Jamie...Wow! You sent the cooler weather, the sun, a few drops of refreshing rain, a rainbow, a stunning sunset and a light breeze for everyone at your festival.

For me (mum) you sent a fox, a little muntjac, a couple of birds of prey, 2 squirrels, some gorgeous pups and so many little blue tits, thank you my darling boy xxx IYKYK 💙🩵💙

Thank you to every single person who came along, danced, sang, ate, drank, took part, donated, chatted, smiled, played the raffles, hooked a duck, bounced, played, laughed and just had some flipping good fun with us for Jamies beautiful day. You're all some very special people, what an amazing community we have behind us 💙💜🩵🤍

OurJay Festival total raised to be confirmed over the coming days and the raffle prize winners to be contacted tomorrow 🥰🥰
