OURJAY’S MISSION STATEMENT

OurJay Foundation aims to raise awareness of the importance of having 24/7 publicly accessible automated external defibrillators. We also aim to raise funds to purchase and install accessible defibrillators across Rugby, Warwickshire and further afield.

We are working closely with local government organisations, community groups and business organisations to get these vital accessible defibrillators into as many publicly accessible sites as possible.

We will continue to campaign for and provide CPR/AED Training to incorporate automated external defibrillators as a mandatory element of the training. Additionally, we will campaign to have CPR/AED training in the curriculum of all educational establishments across the UK.

How the charity spends the funds:

The advancement of health and the saving of life by providing training in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) techniques including the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AED) to members of the public in Rugby, Warwickshire and the immediate vicinity (the Community). Supporting the acquisition and maintenance of 24/7 publicly accessible AEDs in strategic locations within the Community.
